SUMMARY:Operation Christmas Child
DESCRIPTION:We will be starting up our annual focus on   Operation Christmas Child soon!  This is where we collect shoeboxes packed with small gifts for children around the world.  If you intend to participate this year\, please be aware that many stores are currently having summer clearance and back to school sales.  This is a great time of year to pick up fun and useful items for your shoebox at a great price!  Some suggested items include colored pencils\, coloring books\, toothbrushes\, combs\, small stuffed animals\, etc.  We have empty red and green boxes available at the church if you would like to get one started now (see Lura Townsend or Angela Dibbert to get one). \nCampaigning begins Sunday\, October 4\, and boxes are due by November 8.  If you have any questions\, contact Lura Townsend (402.510.1872). \n
