Pastor Daniel, a 2002 graduate from Grace University in Omaha, NE, came as pastor of Grace Church in October 2015.  He has previous ministry experience serving at Community Bible Church in Omaha, NE as Office Administrator/Pastor of Children’s Ministries for five years and another five years as the Pastor of Family Ministries. In 2020 he earned his Master of Ministry degree from Grace School of Theology. Pastor Daniel and his wife, Rachel, grew up in rural Iowa and love living in a smaller community and ministering at Grace Church. In addition to his pastoral duties, Pastor Daniel loves to fish, hunt, sit around fire pits and go on date nights with his lovely bride. He and Rachel have been married since June, 2000, and have four children.

Eric Townsend, graduated from Grace University in Omaha, NE.  He holds degrees in Bible and Youth Ministries as well as Masters in Biblical Studies and Pastoral Counseling.   He served in the US Army as a member of the 82nd Airborne Division where he became disabled during a training accident.  He has served many years as a Local Service Officer with the DAV (Disabled American Veterans) and member of the American Legion serving other veterans.  In addition he has over 12 years of experience working with youth and families employed by several NPOs and other social service organizations.  Eric enjoys most outdoor activities, reading, eating at Chick-fil-A and watching sports & movies.  Eric and Lura have been married for over 6 years and have had the great blessing of traveling to many countries and experiencing many different cultures and people.

Rachel Bear is our part-time secretary.  She keeps the website up to date, designs and prints our bulletins, makes our announcement slides for Sunday morning, keeps the calendar updated, and also designs and prints our monthly newsletter.  She designs and prints many items for the various committees here at Grace Church.  You may find her updating the bulletin boards at church from time to time as well.

Rachel is Pastor Daniel’s wife, so she is kept busy trying to keep up with him.  She homeschools their children, so being able to do a lion’s share of the design work at home helps tremendously.  She is also the secretary for the AWANA club here at Grace.  She loves to sing, read and scrapbook, although she admits there isn’t much time for the latter two.
