This past month has been busy for the deacons, but we know many of you do not know what it is exactly that we do; what it is that keeps us busy. To help with this, we wrote a letter explaining some of what we do and how we do it. If you are a regular attender of Grace Church, you should have received a copy of this letter in your church mailbox.
We also want you to know that we do not take the responsibilities of being a deacon lightly. We want to serve God well in this position and ask that you pray for us as we do this to the best of our abilities. As deacons, we want to be available to you so if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact any of us (Thomas Holmes, Glenn Jares, Kelvin Smith).
In addition, we want to take a moment to thank you for your continued generous giving to our benevolence fund. This past month we have been able to help individuals both inside and outside our church family with some medical bills and rent payments. Thank you for your continued support of this ministry.
