Welcome to Secret Sisters! Rachel Bear and Vicki Fellers will be leading the charge for the program this year. Our focus…encouragement!! We all need encouragement to make it. We want to focus on praying and encouraging one another as sisters in Christ, and we want you to participate with us. We have a private Secret Sister Facebook page which you will be invited to join that can be used to ask for prayers for things going on in your lives, to share encouraging notes that speak to you, and will serve to give reminders from Rachel and Vicki. We also ask you to fill out our secret sister survey so your secret sister can get to know you better. The act of praying and encouraging each other initiates a relationship, but knowing more about your secret sister enables you to more specifically be able to encourage her. We would like the survey filled out and back to Rachel Bear’s mailbox by Sunday, March 2. Vicki and Rachel will then distribute secret sisters on Sunday, March 9. While you can give gifts throughout the year, our goal is to simply have you put an encouraging note card (or a sticky note, for that matter) once a month (or more, if you desire) in your secret sister’s mailbox here at church letting her know that you are thinking of her and praying for her. You will find prayer cards on the slat wall in the north lobby. If you have a specific prayer request that you want shared with the secret sister who has you, give Rachel Bear or Vicki Fellers a note and they will get it to your secret sister so she knows how best to pray for you that week. Encouraging our fellow sisters in Christ is such a precious thing to God—and we need it more than we realize at times. There is strength in numbers—let us pray and encourage you this year through Secret Sister!
