We have addressed the value of wisdom. Today we’re going to address the personal pitfalls that keep us from seeking wisdom and be challenged to do some soul-searching as part of being a maturing follower of Jesus Christ.

Distractions are everywhere in the world for both those who believe in God and those who don’t. These distractions keep us from thinking about life and the direction we’re headed which is, quite often, the direction of the masses. Meanwhile, wisdom is calling. Will you hear her?

You don’t have to be a mom to be a biblical superwoman. Proverbs 31 gives us a picture of what a biblical superwoman, not just a supermom, looks like. And while you may not do these things perfectly, even doing one or two of them will start you down the path of becoming superwoman!

Today’s message will be an overview of the book of Proverbs which will give us a framework to use as we study this book full of sayings of the wise.
